This past weekend our parents and athletes descended upon Mad River Valley for the ski and skate sale, dryland sessions and base box cleanup. A few pushups were done, snowballs made, food consumed, hammers swung. But regardless of whether you were hanging flags or doing squats, it was immensely productive. Our athletes had a great drylands session with Jim and Kathy while parents, following the initiative of Linda Guy, turn our corner of the Basebox into a cleaner, more functional space.
On Sunday, we hiked to the top of the Double and observed all the great trail work the volunteer crews did over the summer. The mountain is showing strong signs of recovery after years of drainage and trail mowing neglect.
Many, many thanks to all that helped make this weekend a success. If you missed it, plan on joining us next year!
